“TORREVIEJA AS YOU IMAGINE IT”

The mayoral candidate for Sueña Torrevieja presented his plans for how he and his group will transform Torrevieja under the title, “Torrevieja as you Imagine it”, with actions to work immediately from July 1, 2023.

During the presentation which included the introduction of the entire team that will transform Torrevieja, in the Hotel Fontana in the town, Samper stated that “my main objective is to make Torrevieja a livelier, happier and more modern city. Torrevieja and each and every one of its neighbours do not deserve to see the days pass between unfulfilled promises of the PP government. It cannot be that in Torrevieja no work, service or investment of relevance that benefits citizens has been noticed”.

At the same time, Samper assures that “I am very proud of the brave men and women who accompany me on this path to be mayor of Torrevieja, men and women committed to the social, cultural and educational fabric of our city and who want to work to make Torrevieja a much better city”.

Samper explained with the candidates Rodolfo Carmona, Melina Camacho, Jaime Aniorte and Alicia Bernabé, the main investment and revitalisation projects of the city:

• Remodelling of the Station Park with the creation of more than 40,000m2 of green areas, playgrounds and underground parking
• Pedestrianisation of the urban area, with the opening of the streets to families, commerce and hospitality and the creation of more than 1,000 new parking spaces
• Project to create five storm tanks to end flooding
• Project for the widening of the N-332 as it passes through Torrevieja to end traffic jams and retentions

At the same time, Samper outlined other proposals of his electoral program for neighbourhoods and urbanisations, with the improvement of public services, a specific plan for the revitalisation of La Mata, social proposals aimed at improving the quality of life of our elders, our people with different abilities, as well as the LGTBIQ + collective with the proposal to develop a Municipal Comprehensive Diversity Plan and the defence of the rights of the collective.

For Samper “the project of Sueña Torrevieja is the only local and independent project that looks exclusively at the residents of Torrevieja, without ties or impositions of Orihuela, Alicante or Valencia”.

Samper concludes with a clear message “in these elections there are only two options: either PP, after all the unfulfilled promises during these four years of its mayor, or all the neighbours who want a solid alternative and a social and modern Torrevieja are agglutinated in a majority way in the project that represents Sueña Torrevieja”.
