Municipal Art School Students Exhibit Works

This coming Thursday, June 1, at 7:00 p.m., the mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, together with the Councillor for Culture, Antonio Quesada, inaugurates the exhibition ACCIÓN in the exhibition hall of the Virgen Cultural Centre, featuring works by the students at the Municipal School of Painting, guided by their teacher, Mar García.

A total of 60 Mar García students are part of this project in which each student has turned to a 10 x 0.40 metre canvas, which will be suspended from the ceiling of the Cultural Centre exhibition hall until Sunday, June 25th.

ACCIÓN is the development of a creative project after observing and admiring nature, transferred to a formal level in a contemporary approach. A simile is produced between the action of defending nature and the moment of creation-boiling, turning the painting classroom into a laboratory in which to experiment with gestures.
