Officials of the Administration of Justice will meet today, Tuesday, with the Ministry of Justice, almost two months after the group announced demonstrations in search of a higher remuneration for their salary conditions.
Despite the fact that the union has managed to capture the attention of the Ministry, they reproach that the decision to start negotiating “comes a month and a half after the start of the mobilisations that 93% of the workforce has carried out throughout the country”.
The officials warn that they will continue with the indefinite strikes until the day of the meeting and, depending on the proposals they receive, they will undertake new mobilisations, although they trust that the Administration “abandon its cocky and contemptuous attitude” and manage to get out of the negotiations with an agreement to resolve a conflict “that does not only affect the 45,000 officials of the General and Special Corps Justice Administration, but the public service itself, which is already collapsed and in a true abyss from which it will not emerge for years,” they say.
“This is not the time to let our guard down, the indefinite strike and the rest of the pressure measures announced, such as concentrations and informative assemblies, are maintained. It is the strength of these mobilisations that will allow the committee to negotiate with the full support of the workers and workers on strike in pursuit of their just demands”, settles the collective.
