On Tuesday in the Fourth Section of the Valencia regional courts, a 58-year-old man is on trial accused of subjecting a minor to touching and other sexual practices, who was 15 when the events began, with whom he lived in a municipality in the Los Serranos region.
The public prosecution, which claims a 15-year sentence for two crimes of sexual abuse, maintains that, on several occasions, between August 2020 and May 2021, the defendant proposed to give the victim a massage to soothe the girl’s ailment, which he took advantage of to touch the intimate parts of the minor.
The Prosecutor also maintains that the man, who was a friend of the victim’s grandfather, used trust and superiority due to his age to carry out the acts.
Also on Tuesday, but in the Fifth Section, a 42-year-old man accused of groping his niece, who was 15 years old at the time of the events, is scheduled to be tried.
The Prosecutor’s Office maintains that on August 1, 2020, the defendant, who spent the night at his sister’s house, approached the victim’s bed and began to touch her private parts over her clothes, until the girl removed his hand, and he left the room. Shortly thereafter the defendant tried again.
The public prosecution requests a five-year prison sentence for a crime against sexual freedom.
