The Spanish water reserve is at 47.4 percent of its capacity and still reducing
The Spanish water reserve is at 47.4 percent of its total capacity. The reservoirs currently store 26,588 cubic hectometres (hm³) of water, which, once again, despite rain in places, has decreased by 52 cubic hectometres in the last week (0.1 percent of the current total capacity of the reservoirs).
The reservation by areas is as follows:
- Cantábrico Oriental se encuentra 87,7%
- Cantábrico Occidental 89%
- Miño-Sil 71,6%
- Galicia Costa 79,2%
- Cuencas internas del País Vasco 81%
- Duero 64,4%
- Tajo 58,8%
- Guadiana 31,8%
- Tinto, Odiel y Piedras 69%
- Guadalete-Barbate 24,7%
- Guadalquivir 23,9%
- Cuenca Mediterránea Andaluza 34,3%
- Segura 36,1%
- Júcar 58,3%
- Ebro 48,7%
- Cuencas internas de Cataluña 25,8%
The precipitations have considerably affected the entire peninsula. The maximum has been produced in Teruel with 78.6 mm (78.6 l/m²).
