Social Security affiliation has grown by 463,071 people in seasonally adjusted terms in the last seven months (December 15-July 15).
This data is the highest for this period of the historical series and practically equals the job creation registered throughout the year 2022. For its part, the increase registered by the original series (607,184 people) is the second largest for this period.
In addition, little more than a year after the daily affiliation exceeded 20 million employed persons, it is still above 20.9 million affiliates. Specifically, the daily affiliation data has been above this figure from July 11 to the last available day.
With the latest data available, corresponding to July 15, the total number of affiliates has grown by 1.35 million people since the start of the pandemic. The average affiliation observed, in seasonally adjusted terms, in the period from mid-June to mid-July has registered a result of 4,709 people compared to the average of the previous two fortnights. In original terms, this variation is 13,131 people.
