They train relentlessly for a job that nobody hopes they will ever have to perform, but this week, fire fighters at Mallorca’s airport have been spending some of their time stripping off and playing with their hoses.
The reason for the fire fighters strip show is so the protectors could pose for a solidarity calendar to raise funds for children with Down Syndrome in support of the Asnimo foundation.
The hundred firefighting professionals have become improvised models for a ‘high-flying’ calendar where you can see the most explosive and ‘spicy’ photographs of one of the most highly valued bodies of emergency teams.
The solidarity calendar will cost 10 euro and all money raised will be used to cover the expenses of the SEDIAP program (Servei Desenvolupament Infantil Primerenca) of the Asnimo foundation.
The calendars can be purchased at the airport terminal itself, at the entrances to the El Corte Inglés de Avingudes and Jaume III shopping centres and on the ground floor of Portopí.
