The courts on the Balearic Islands will hear evidence from today against a man accused of sexually abusing the youngest daughter of friends, who was between eight and 11 years old when the events occurred.
The man faces a request for six years in prison for a crime of continuous sexual abuse of a minor under 16 years of age.
According to the indictment, the events took place between 2016 and 2019. The defendant, who at times lived with the couple and their daughter due to their friendship, took advantage of the moments he was alone with the girl to kiss her and, on occasion, insert his tongue into her mouth.
On other occasions he took photographs of her in her underwear and touched her breasts and on one occasion he showed her his penis so she could touch it.
As a result of these events, the girl had to receive psychological treatment. The Public Ministry also requests compensation of 20,000 euro for the moral damages caused.
