Orihuela Cultural Department Launches Christmas Schedule

With a matter of days before the first of the main events, Christmas, the Department of Culture of the Orihuela City Council has announced a complete program for Christmas 2023, with a focus on events for the little ones, and also includes the Orihuela Costa, and surrounding villages, with the La Zenia beach being the focus of the Christmas celebration on the coast… (Like every year).

The Councillor for Culture, Gonzalo Montoya, praised the Christmas cultural offer: “From the Department of Culture we have wanted to make a great effort to offer a wide, complete and varied program of Christmas cultural activities in order to reach all audiences, especially the little ones, so that we can all enjoy a wonderful Christmas in Orihuela.”

The schedule starts on Wednesday evening with “Stories-Songs and Family Traditions.” El Portal de Belén” at 6 p.m. at the María Moliner Municipal Library, and then “Zarzuela Los Pastores de Belén” by ACAMDO on Friday, December 22 at 8:15 p.m. at the Teatro Circo Atanasio Díe Marin.

The programming is complemented by 7 children’s workshops in Pedanías with children’s entertainment. Each event consists of a craft workshop, a face painting workshop and a homemade clay workshop, and lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.
