The Provincial Court will hear the case today against a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the toilets of a health centre in Castellón where both were patients.
The events occurred on September 5, 2018, when the defendant, diagnosed with mild mental deficiency, approached the victim, took her to the toilets and forced her sexually.
The woman is affected by a mild-moderate cognitive deficit and has a recognised disability of 76%.
The Prosecutor’s Office requests that the defendant be sentenced to six years in prison for the crime of sexual assault and a measure of confinement in an establishment appropriate to his characteristics for a period of no more than six years.
