Small businesses to be recognised in awards ceremony

Published

on

The Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CEPYME) will present awards today with the aim of recognising and giving visibility to the work and trajectory of small businesses. The gala will be held in the Auditorium of the Reina Sofía Museum and will feature the participation of Their Majesties, the King and Queen, as well as other institutional figures.

This year, the tenth time the awards have been held, recognition will be given to categories such as SME of the year and self-employed entrepreneur of the year, but also to others such as SMEs with best payment practices. The awards have considered criteria such as innovation; the growth potential, the level of digitalisation of business activity or job creation, among others that will depend on each category.

According to the confederation, “this tenth edition consolidates Awards that were born in 2014 and that have awarded over the years to more than 80 small and medium-sized companies from all corners of Spain.”
