The Guardia Civil has investigated a driver who was recorded traveling at 247 kilometres per hour on the A-7 in El Ejido, Almería.
The investigation began after a complaint was sent to the Guardia Civil collaboration email, ‘colabora@guardiacivil.org’, in which a screenshot of a video published on an Instagram profile was attached.
In the analysis and study of the images provided, the investigators managed to identify that the events had occurred on the A-7 motorway, near the La Redonda industrial estate, in El Ejido, as well as identifying the make and model of the vehicle involved, which was a high-power car.
The investigation resulted in the identification and location of the driver of the vehicle, of Spanish nationality and resident in a municipality in western Almería, and who is accused of allegedly committing a crime against road safety.
