BRITISH FUGITIVE ARRESTED IN BENIDORM

Officers from the National Police have arrested 47 year old British fugitive in Benidorm, who was the subject of a European Arrest and Deliver Warrant issued by UK authorities for his alleged involvement in a crime against child sexual indemnity, for which he was sentenced by the High Court in Edinburgh and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The arrest, carried out by the Judicial Police Brigade of Alicante, took place on Tuesday at a campsite in the town, in which he is said to have resided.

The arrest was enacted and the man has been made available to the National Court in Madrid who will now deal with the terms of the warrant for another criminal who sought to hide from the law in Spain.
