LOCAL BEACHES RATED AS EXCELLENT

The analysis of water and sand on local beaches has rated their quality as excellent. The tests, conducted by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Water, were carried out during the week 1-7 July, achieving the same rating as last year.

The tests were carried out on the beaches distinguished with the blue flag (Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cala Capitán, Cabo Roig, La Glea, Barranco Rubio and Mil Palmeras), as well as Aguamarina and Cala Cerrada.

These analyzes are performed on a weekly basis by the Conselleria between 1 June and 15 September.
