A GIFT OF CHRISTMAS

Since the beginning of December, a giant box has been present in the reception of the Orihuela Costa town hall, which has gradually been filling with gifts to be donated to those less fortunate at Christmas.

The Councillor for the Coast, Martina Scheurer, has been in touch with the priest Joaquín from the church of La Zenia to provide accurate information about the children of around 75 families who are being helped by the Cáritas organisation on the Orihuela Costa.

The councillor would like to thank everybody for the numerous donations from individuals and associations of the Little Pod Foundation and Rendezvous Girls Social Club for their extremely generous contributions.

Santa was on hand this week in the town hall too, making sure that all of the presents matched the lists of requests he´s received so far, and he also brought a sack full of chocolate treats to add to the gifts already donated.

Kids must stop reading here, but for the adults only, thanks are also extended to Mal for playing the part of Santa once more.
