Sunday 17th May will be a special day as acts from all over the Costa Blanca converge in Playa Flamenca to raise money for Cancer Research.
All the acts will be donating their skills for free for the bumper variety show which will be held at Sunrise Restaurant, La Mosca Centre in Playa Flamenca. The event, which will be broadcast live all round the world starts at 2pm and continues until midnight.
Amongst the many acts appearing free of charge will be Zodiac Duo from Benidorm, The Streeters band from Murcia and country singer Red Strokes from Los Alcazares. Included in the varied line up are Rod Stewart Tribute – David John Williams and top flamenco dancer Joseluis Balboa.
The event will be joint hosted by Big FM’s Richie Sparks and Top comedy hypnotist Eddie Malloy, who hopes he doesn’t have to hypnotise the audience into donating large sums of money for the charity.
Local acts That’s Life Duo, Randall Cain, Luke Wilder and Rob Roberts will also be getting the audiences up and dancing and digging deep. Rock n Roll fans are in for a big treat with the evening ending with pure musical genius and a lot of fun from Frankie and The Booters 5 piece band.
With a live auction and plenty of opportunity to donate during the event, organisers Lee Howard and Lets Rock Shows hope that the generosity of attendees will go a long way to helping find a final cure for Cancer.
