Hot and Humid June
The weather in the Valencia region in June was hot and humid, according to the latest data collated by the Spanish met office, AEMET.
The average temperature was 21.6 degrees, which was 0.7 degrees higher than the norm for June.
It was also quite wet with an average of 44.5 litres per square metre of rain falling, a 75% increase over the normal average rainfall for the month. This was particularly worsened by storms at the end of the month, although the coastal areas were largely free from too many problems due to a prevailing wind.
