Three British men are due at court later this month on charges of dealing drugs.
The suspected drug dealers could face a possible six year prison sentence each when their trial begins on 17th December at the provincial court in Granada.
The trio was arrested in Almuñécar in February 2009 when they sped off to avoid a Guardia Civil control point. Police followed in pursuit and found a haul of drugs inside the British registered Jaguar including ecstasy, cannabis and marijuana.
Europa Press says the charges against them include crimes against public health crimes, dangerous driving and disobeying authority. None are believed to have a previous criminal record.
