Processionary caterpillar nests are being removed across the Orihuela municipality, with most of the nests being found on the Orihuela Costa. The Courier has previously published details of the harm that caterpillars can do to pets and to young children, with Orihuela’s environment councillor, Miguel Ángel Fernández, saying that the work is being carried out by the CTL company.
