120 more Covid deaths reported in Spain

The Ministry of Health reported 8,320 new cases of coronavirus in Spain in the latest update, of which 4,607 have occurred in people over 60 years of age, which brings the total number of infections in Spain to 13,393,196 since the start of the pandemic.

Regarding the current average incidence of infections in Spain in the last 14 days in people over 60 years of age, it stands at 129.44 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, a figure very close to the 129.82 reported on Friday.

As for those who died from Covid-19, 120 more deaths have been reported, of which 55 have been registered in the last week. This makes the death toll from coronavirus in Spain at 113,845 people.

Currently, there are 2,515 patients admitted for covid-19 throughout Spain (compared to 2,455 on Friday) and 159 in an ICU (146 were registered in the last report). The occupancy rate of beds occupied by coronavirus stands at 2.09 percent (compared to 2.08% on Friday) and in ICUs at 1.84 percent (compared to 1.72% reported on Friday).
