Young people demonstrate for rent payments today

Published

on

A platform of young Andalusians called a demonstration for today, Friday, in the capital of Seville to demand that the Junta de Andalucía execute the payments of the Young Rent Bonus aid “after a wait of one year and seven months”.

The mobilisation, which will take place at the gates of the San Telmo Palace — seat of the Presidency of the Government of the Junta — at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, is “a necessary response to the silence and delay” of the Andalusian Executive regarding the payment of this aid.

The Andalusian youth demand that “all the files be processed and payments are made”, highlighting “the nonsense” in the management of this aid, “exceeding all legal deadlines”.

In addition, the protesters warn that the Ministry of Development, Articulation of Territory and Housing “throws balls out”, since they make ugly “confusing information and computer problems” in relation to the Youth Rental Bonus.

In addition, a signature collection has begun through the ‘Change.org’ platform to request the president of the Board, Juanma Moreno, information on the processing of aid and the resolution of payments.
