Adult film producer on trial on child pornography charges

The trial against adult film director and producer, Ignacio Allende Fernández, also known as Torbe, begins on Monday in the Criminal Court of Madrid, where he is accused of possession and distribution of child pornography.

He faces a prosecutor’s request of seven years and six months in prison for facts that were reported by the minor when they learned that the video was viral.

The trial will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Albarracín courts of the capital and the accused is expected to testify by videoconference as he lives outside of Madrid, according to legal sources.

According to the prosecutor, the “viral” dissemination of a video of sexual content on social networks in which a minor appeared “caused the protected witness to have post-traumatic stress disorder of medium-high intensity.”

What’s more, he emphasises that “all of this seriously affected the young woman in her personal, family and social sphere, and she had to leave her studies as she was unable to continue her training process.”

For other defendants, JC Panadero and FJ Mina, the prosecutor requests for the first of them 3 years for a crime of distribution of pornography and for the second one year in prison for a crime of possession of child pornography.

Torbe, for his part, is charged with the crimes of distribution of child pornography, discovery and disclosure of secrets, and possession of child pornography.

In December 2012, according to the indictment, Torbe contacted LM, a young Romanian woman who, after verbally informing him that she was of legal age, arranged to record two videos with pornographic content in which she and two of the accused appeared.

Shortly after, Torbe learned that in reality the young woman was not yet of legal age, so he waited a few months until she turned 18 and published the two videos on his website.
