The Palencia Court will hear evidence from Monday against a man for whom the Public Prosecutor requests a sentence of three years and six months in prison and a fine of 4,000 euro for an alleged crime of possession of drugs.

For an indeterminate period of time, in any case prior to September 13, 2019, the accused, DGA, has been dedicated to trafficking narcotic substances in two homes in Paredes de Nava, one in which he lives and another, uninhabited and belonging to his mother and her uncle, the accusation states.

Having conducted an investigation the Guardia Civil searched the homes and found two bags of cocaine in the home where the accused lives; a precision scale; 385 euro in bills; another bag also with cocaine; a paper with notes and quantities; a blue box with 2,540 euro in bills; a die-cut plastic bag to make stationery; amphetamine in the freezer; a notebook with notes of names associated with figures, two compact pieces of hashish, and 120 euro and a notebook with initials and amounts. Nothing of relevance to the investigation was found at the other address.

The scientific report confirmed the existence of 24.7 grams of cocaine; 3.51 grams of cocaine; 5.82 grams of cannabis resin and 8.56 grams of amphetamine.
