The Provincial Court of A Coruña will hold a trial from Tuesday for the crime of misappropriation, or alternatively of unfair administration, and for which a property manager from the community of neighbours of the property where she resided in Culleredo (A Coruña) faces prison.

In its qualification document, the Prosecutor’s Office maintains that, since January 2015, she managed the administration of the community of owners after an agreement in the board of that community. In addition, she was also designated president as she resided in a home in the building.

“Their functions consisted of keeping the community accounts (management of the bank account) and ordering expenses and payments,” he explains.

Furthermore, it points out that “guided by the intention of obtaining an illicit financial benefit, she made different withdrawals of money during some of the years in which she carried out the community administration activity, between 2015 and 2017.”

“She recorded payments that did not correspond to any charge to the community account,” says the Prosecutor, which, among other issues, points to different amounts in consecutive months, which “she incorporated into her assets by disposing of them.”

In total, he points to a debt with the community of 9,200 euro, an amount that he demands be paid, in addition to requesting a sentence of two years and three months in prison.
