FREE SPANISH LESSONS IN PILAR DE LA HORADADA

Learning to ask the time, directions, or just simple conversational Spanish, a course attended by almost 60 Pilar residents in the town last week. Amongst the nationalities taking part were people from the UK, Germany, France, Bulgaria and Turkey.

The courses will be held over 36 hours, 3 hours per week and funded by the province of Alicante.
Students were divided into 2 groups, basic and intermediate and at the first session the councilors for Employment and Immigration, Asunción Sánchez , and Violet Samper, both said how pleased they were to see the number of people attending the course.

They said that a basic knowledge of the language was important as it would open the doors to residents so that they could participate in many other activities intended for the citizens of Pilar de la Horadada .
