DHL OPENS THIRD ALICANTE CENTRE

The logistics company DHL Express has opened a distribution centre in Alicante, located in the Polígono Las Atalayas industrial estate.

With a 1.8 million euro investment, the facility covers a total of 10,000 square metres, with 4,700 dedicated to distribution and 700 metres to administration.

Equipped with the latest technology, the facility can deal with up to 3,000 parcels every hour, and has the capacity for 24 trucks simultaneously on both sides of the unit.

DHL Express has two other facilities in Alicante, one in the cargo area of the airport, dedicated to international services, and another in Alcoy, in which a total of more than 170 people work.
