Orihuela local police have taken to Facebook to appeal for help in identifying problem roads where pedestrian crossings need repainting.
This week, they posted pictures of word being carried out on Calle José Avila in the city, advising that the work will be carried out every Wednesday.
They then asked for their followers to report any areas where pedestrian crossings are in urgent need of painting, whether in the city, the local villages or the coastal zones.
The police will then pass the information on to the municipal contractors based on the priority and urgency of the work.
You can email information about the problem areas, giving as much location information as possible, to policialocal@orihuela.es, and if you´re on Facebook you can follow the daily work of the officers, as well as receiving important advice and information, by searching for Policía Local de Orihuela.
