The police explain that consumers are invited to complete a brief survey in exchange for a 150 euro voucher to spend at the furniture store, but this is nothing more than a scam.

Ikea themselves have become aware of the problem and have also circulated a warning through their own sites.

The aim of the scam is to extract personal information from the users which could then be used for fraudulent means.

If you come across anything like this, the advice is to not submit any data and to report the post through the social network site´s own reporting procedure.
