Cat Killer Arrested in San Pedro del Pinatar
Officers from the Guardia Civil have arrested a 77 year old man for clubbing a cat to death in a Street in the Murcia town of San Pedro del Pinatar.
Neighbours photographed the horrific scene and reported the incident to the Guardia Civil.
The man reports that the cat, without warning, had attacked man´s pigeons in his home.
The man, a Spanish resident of the town, was brought before the courts in San Javier and, thanks to stricter laws relating to animal abuse, now faces between 6 and 18 months in prison on a charge of animal abuse.
