Fleeing Kamikaze Driver Rams Patrol Car

A driver who was traveling the wrong way on the A-92 motorway crashed into two Guardia Civil patrol cars who had stopped the vehicle to prevent a bigger tragedy.

The incident occurred on Saturday morning on the Almería to Fiñana road in the Guadix area.

Having brought the dangerous vehicle to a halt, the officers proceeded to try to identify the driver and ascertain the reason for the mistake.

The driver took advantage of the officers also having stopped and rammed their two patrol cars as he fled the scene.

The vehicle was stopped by the impact of this crash and the driver was taken to the hospital in Guadix, where he will be dealt with for the offences.
