A Fashion Festival for the Home and Body in Alicante
With an ambiance to rival fashion-focused locations such as Paris, Milan or Rome, Alicante will play host to the most beautiful designs of the moment for the next couple of weeks, starting off with the Mercado Diseno Alicante.
The old bus station on Plaza Seneca is the location, the 5th, 6th and 7th of October the dates, for a range of items for the home, from lighting to fabrics, as well as workshops and free concerts throughout the event.
Then, from the 9th to the 14th, the activity moves to the harbour area, when a fashion market takes over the boardwalk to the north side.
In the shadow of the Santa Barbera castle, in la Plaza del Puerto (Opposite the Hotel Meliá), a wider range of good will be on offer in areas dedicated to fashion, footwear, accessories, home, sports, optics, and a gourmet area.
The best stores in town will offer their best deals, all in one place, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with free activities planned for every day.
Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a bit of gastronomic diversity, on Saturday, 6 October 2018, from 09:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., there is also a specialist Vegan Sweet market, offering samples of goods from small organic farmers and artisans of Alicante.
The location for that event is calle Jacinto Maltes on the corner of calle Julio Antonio.
If it’s a liquid diet you prefer, then we also have the III Oktobeerfest, which is on from the 6th to the 9th of October, on avenida Del Doctor Rico.
By the way, a little advanced notice, the 5 Vegan Fest Alicante, 2018, is scheduled to take place on the 20th and 21st of October. More details on that nearer the time.
