British Woman Killed in Paragliding Incident
A British woman was killed on Sunday in a paragliding accident in the Sierra in Algodonales, Cádiz.
According to the fire consortium, the woman was 48 years of age and has the initials LP and was a resident of the Cadíz town of La Línea de la Concepción.
The victim is reported to have fallen to the ground after flying just “a few metres” and was said to have been killed instantly.
The fire service had to retrieve the victim as the location where she landed was difficult to access.
The emergency call was made at 14:43 and the incident concluded at 19:00. An investigation has begun.
