NEW SEISMIC MONITOR STATION OPENS

Following an agreement reached by the Department of Agriculture and the Ministry of Roads and Public Works a new seismic monitoring station has opened in Los Montesinos. The facility will allow for a better monitoring of earthquakes in the area.

As such, with just a simple phone call, local residents will know exactly what earth movements occur in the town. They will also be recorded on the websites of both the National Geographic Institute and Los Montesinos Ayuntamiento.
